Bunions are the most common forefoot disorder found. In this disease there is large bulging in the inside of the foot at the big toe joint. This is a bone that bulges out inside the feet. A condition like overlapping toes is seen. It is forms when the bursa is inflamed at the base of big toe. There are two types of bunions acute type and tailor’s bunion. The tailor’s bunion is formed at the outside of the foot in the direction of joint at the little toe. It is a small bulge. The person cannot walk properly. This can also cause inflammation, swelling, and soreness on the big toe. It is a chronic and also painless deformity that can cause rigidity of the bones.
